Money is well spent on a service!
We have had a plethora of very good guitars in lately for 'just a 'single string', the player not realizing that by the time one string has finally bit the dust that pretty well all of them need replacing - not always admittedly - the odd faulty string and the odd over exuberance whilst tuning, or doing Albert King style bends, will always occur, however a guitar with bad strings will under-perform and cause intonation problems at the very least. Run your fingers under the strings, and if they feel 'barbed wire like' and not perfectly round all the way then it is time for a change. With Elixir and the many new breed of coated strings they last a lot longer, especially the titanium coated treble variant. The clue here is when it looks like your strings look like they have bits of 'Glad Wrap' hanging off the wound strings then it is time for a change. We offer a restringing service and often can assess the instrument to ascertain whether you guitar needs a full service, or a few small adjustments, rest assured a little goes a long way !
A Gibson Double neck awaits adjustments.
